Rockingham Country Club Wedding

Here’s another one of my weddings from 2023! Although it’s not often as I’d like, I love putting up another wedding in my blog when I’m able. This wedding took place in the NH seacoast at the Rockingham Country Club. I wanted to share this wedding because I just loved how fun, kind, and joyful this couple and their guests were. The Rockingham Country Club also welcomed the couple, guests, and vendors with open arms, allowing us to photograph in many areas of their beautiful property, use one of their golf carts, and hosting us with such care.

The Wedding Couple

My couple were ecology and biology professors who wanted a wedding filled with botanical details, including dried petals and flowers and all sorts of little touches from nature.

My coverage began with an outdoor ceremony at an open field. Rockingham country club set up an arch covered with vines as well as some cloth covered seating for friends and family. On each side of the aisle, there were little bottles of wildflowers. They had a really touching ceremony, including personal vows from handprinted booklets. I tried not to get teary eyed! I also loved that they were able to have two close friends officiate the wedding. At the end of the ceremony, I took a wide photo of all of the guests turned toward me, as the couple requested. Then the couple ran down the aisle while their friends and family tossed petals. I love it when couples do this tradition. Not only is it fun, but you get such wide smiles, laughs, and emotions in the photos as the couple exits. You certainly get some awesome candids!

After the ceremony, we took family and bridal party photos on a path with stringed lanterns in the background. Afterward, we headed on the golf cart and found a small stone wall that was in some shade where we took some couple photos. When we were finished we joined the guests for cocktail hour.

During cocktail hour, I got some candids, but also some detail shots as well. During the reception, we also did some sunset photos, and some guests came outside to join us too! Luckily I was also able to get some dancing photos during my coverage time!
