September in Cape Cod brings a special kind of beauty. The air is crisp, and the light is soft. This wedding was set at the Club at New Seabury, at the charming Popponnesset Inn. From getting ready in a cute cottage, to the golf course, to the covered beachside reception, it was a stunning day in early autumn. New Seanbury, Mashpee is a beautiful part of Cape Cod with warm beaches and a classic New England charm.

Getting Ready started in a cottage just down the road from the church ceremony and beach reception. I made a flat lay with bridal details, documented a first look with bridesmaids and dad; all while my second shooter got photos of the groom getting finishing touches and transcribing his vows into a beautiful small book.

After getting ready, they shared intimate private vows. This moment was heartfelt and personal. It set a beautiful tone for the day. Emotions ran high as they promised to love each other forever. It was a quiet but powerful start to the day!

Next, we moved to Christ the King Parish in Mashpee for the ceremony. The church was lovely and filled with the sounds of joy and love. Family and friends gathered to witness this special moment. The couple exchanged rings and said their “I dos.” The smiles were radiant, and the love was palpable in the air.

After the ceremony, we headed to Popponnesset Inn. This couple were big golf fans, so we went out to the New Seabury Country Club and got some stunning ocean views. During cocktail hour, we did some beautiful family and bridal party photos on the beach. The Club at New Seabury at the Popponnessett Inn has a stunning sandy beach. The couple then joined their guests eating seafood- and I have to mention the row boat full of lobster and raw clams.

Cocktail hour was followed by the reception. There was lots of tears and laughs during the first dance and toasts. And as sunset approached, the couple and I ran out onto the beach to take couple photos one last time. I love the cinematic photos we got along the ocean. Having exclusive beach access during your celebration is such a gift!

After some beautiful candid, documentary photos at sunset we went back to the party to cut some cake and dance!

In September, New Seabury, Mashpee in Cape Cod becomes a perfect backdrop for weddings. This day was a blend of emotions, beautiful beach scenery, and lasting love.
